Adding Kelp Meal??

I have noticed alot of new supplements are adding " kelp meal" also called tasco. Having benefits such as lowering body temps and adding more minerals....we feed this to our horses so we have it. Could I add this to my ration, I'm not sure how much though.

Yea you can we used to feed it all the time about a half to a quarter of a feed scoop.

Tasco is in our Honor's Powerfill pig feed. Not sure how much to use as a strait supplement for cattle.

Yes, we add it as a topdress, it is just a dusting, a little goes a long way.

The TASCO we use only calls for once per head per day. Sure does seem to help them handle the heat and humidity.

Been using it in our mineral program for the past 5 years. The tasco really seems to help out with body temperatures in the summer. Cows not in the pond all the time like they used to be.

How much kelp meal would you add to a 50 lb. bag of mineral to get the right amount of consumption? Would the cows eat it if you put kelp and mineral out separate? Can cows get too much kelp?
