I just stumbled across a whole slew of semen catalogs from 96-98, from just about every potential semen company out there.  This includes nearly every breed of bull out there- even some bucking bulls.

I'd be willing to email scans of any particular bull that you'd like to see more info on- if I can find it; or post on here.  There is really a ton of bulls--  I'd say my stack is about 6" tall of those catalogs.

Some of the most interesting things that I saw:
Like today, some bulls are carried by multiple agency's; but for the most part it's not repeats.
most every bull has performance and hip height measurements listed.
EXT- looks like a stud
Meyer is a 7 frame plus bull
The Angus bulls smoke every other breed, the Continentals were pretty extreme.
I saw some shorthorn bulls that I'd use, if I could find semen on them...
Sagahatchee is another stud, but looks goofy, almost photo shopped.

I figure this might be a great opportunity for the younger generation to see stats and photos of the bulls that might have been before our time.

I'll go through, and scan the index of the catalogs, so that may spark some interest on particular bulls that people may ask about.

There is no photo of DeBull. He had I believe a hip injury and no photo was ever taken of him.

frostback is correct. DeBull never had a picture that was published because of an injury.

I'd like to see a picture of Playboy. We still use him on some moderated deep bodied angus cows and he makes good females if bred to the right type of cow. I used to have a picture in an old select sires magazine but seem to have misplaced it. Can you post the pic on SP or email me [email protected]  Thank You.

The picture of Diamond Leggs 21 is a full brother. He was never pictured either I don't think. But if you post the picture I can tell you. I had a spastic paresis calf out of him and a SS Kaboom cow. Documented by Ohio State Vets. Buck was late 80's when I was in High school. I might have one of those catalogs.
