AI DVD

I have thought about ordering a dvd on AI.  It is 100.00.  Just wondering if anyone has seen it and if it is in your opinion worth the money.  Would love to go to the schooling but it just is not in the schedule for me anytime soon.

I've never seen any DVD on AI buy have attended a class. I have to say it was really helpful to have someone there to double check the location of my gun and give pointers on how to be more successful. That's just how I learn but the DVD will be good for others. JMO

If I were you id spend your money on semen and someone to a i for you. If you want to a i your cows find a time that you can get to a class. Every cervix is differant and in class you get in several cows, also they will have uterus's out of slaughtered cows that you can get in before you go out to the real cows. Good luck with what ever you do. 

I would tend to agree with what others have said. You're a lot better off.  ABS only charges 250 dollars for the entire 4 day class, so I would think that you would be a lot better suited getting hands on practice in a bunch of cows. At first, it can be hard to tell where you're at inside a cow, so having someone there to tell you is really beneficial. I would advise you to look for a class and invest your money that way.

I went to cattle visions ai school.  It was a great experience, it did take me a while to get the knack for doing it.  But now it is almost 2nd nature.
