All black meyer 734 daughter

Have you ever seen an all black direct meyer 734 daughter? I put in a meyer 734 egg and had a heifer but the calf is all black. I am nervous that it the egg may have been marked wrong. I will get her dna tested but i was wondering if you have ever seen an all black meyer 734 heifer?

What color was the dam? It seems a bit strange, but weird things can happen with cattle. Its a smart move to get the calf DNA tested!

I have one and have seen many. Its nothing to worry about. Its a meyer

not uncommon at all , save money on the dna test just wait and see if she has bad hard hair and sprouts horns or scurs, and if shes alittle nervous on top of that she is definately a meyer

She has hard hair and has a lot of muscle. She has pretty big ears for her age. I almost thought with the muscling tbat she might have some of that Texas breed with the big ears in her. I will post a couple pictures of her and you can tell me what you think.

That sounds exactly like a real Meyers, There are bunches that are solid black.

its hard to tell by that pic in my opinion and meyer meyer i beileve is double bred meyer and appears all black but there is paint for a reason
