Northern improvement seems to be a universal choice as one of the top Angus sires. Are there any other Angus sire suggestions that produce good functional offspring with some showy qualities as well and if so are they better at providing quality bull calves or heifers. Thanks for any and all opinions.

Final Answer is a very good sire , heifer proven, more growth, proably not quite as much clubby style as NI, BUT a lot more performance on the average ...    I really like my Net Worth cattle , but a higher birth EPD , but has more guts an easy fleshing ability than either the other two sires ...BISMARCK  is looking very impressive but have not used him ....Pioneer is a son of Final Answer that we will have calves out of this year an there are a couple other young sons that look very good ..

We bred cattle to Mandan, Net Worth, Making Waves (Canadian Nat'l Champ in '06), Raven, Marathon,  Lutton, Spartan, Lazer, Bando 1961 and Bando 1024, and our bulls, LAF Trademark  (full sister was Reserve Champ @ Waco and San Antonio and Dallas last year, Reserve Div. @ Ft. Worth, and our COACH 5040 bull. We have Trademark semen now and Coach semen available next fall.

Schaff(SAV), Bill Conley(BC), both have bulls for any use. Have seen some nice Final Answer, Net Worth, Bismark, Marathon, Lookout, Matrix, Raven, Bando 1961 calves. Just watch your accuracy % on your EPD's.

We like our Networths, but watch the birthweight (not a heifer bull), Lutton, Raven, Lookout.  There's a bull for different needs...birthweight, growth, maternal... just need to look at the Bull and his EPDs.

I saw a bull in Denver a couple days ago that I thought was flat awesome.  His name was Silveiras Style.  He is a full brother to El Capitan but is clean.  It's always a risk using an unproven bull but I'm going to take a chance on this guy.  I thought he was the most impresive angus bull in denver!

Do you know who owns Silveiras Style?

He sold and about 10 people bought semen interest.  His semen will be carried by Cattlevisions.  I've already ordered some.

Well, I stopped by there with Olson to look at him. I'm in the hunt for a bull with muscle hair and style. This bull looks like he's going to work to "style" up my plainer cows. Can't wait to get him in the tank.

What did you guys think of HF Tiger from Hamilton Farms? I saw him at Agribition in November and then again at NWSS. I thought he was probably one of the best Angus bulls I've seen in a long time, for my needs.
