I ve had 2 out of the same cow. She is very low bw-and so were they. The best one:pics 3 and 4 went through everything that could cause a calf to fall to pieces-A really valient recip with a bad hip who gave it all to raise her, with no creep.then came bad hoofrot-which went up  turned into a damaged pastern where i thought we would lose her: and after an operation and steel pin she had a very distinct messed up  rear leg and badly turned out hoof-which I thought was permanent. But after weaning NCK21 put her and some steers -heifers on some show feed-not a whole lot-but enough that they all looked pretty good-and she was headed to a remarkable recovery. Then came the 2 week trailer ordeal shortly after from Kansas to Gargan's in West Va and THAT-knocked the he*&^&$$l out of her. And she was definitely behind the very good Simms, Maine Angus and char crosses-some of which had come from prominent sales with all the groceries all of their young lives. We didn't think she looked all that woopy, but the bad leg-was improving where it wasn't so pronounced. This is her 2 weeks plus or minus ago-On grass-shes a March-pictured in August-she is BY FAR-the biggest heifer of her age group out of approx 30-all fast grow genetics. She was 72 pounds-BW EPD of 1.6 I think. The red full sib is shown @ 1 day old-63 pounds soaking wet-She just went straight up in the air-not showy-but really grew. The last pic is a steer I saw on the classifieds a year or so ago.

Appreciate it Mark. We have been using Starburst alot looking at changing it up this year. Really do like all the FSF bulls. They always put out real stout made ones.

Assasin seems to be the biggest one maybe not the most extreme clubby.-which is what I was looking for:because i wanted some grow, and sure got it. But if you get any second calvers out of the otherStarburst-Bearcat is a JPJ out of Assasin's dam and hes a beast.I think ASSASIN would work-if you get one Ds free O0
