I'm alright. Been busy working, and, don't usually have much time for social activities. Working for Hiland Dairy Foods ( subsidiary of Prarie Farms Dairy, Carlinville, Illinois), at the Fayetteville Plant. Making more $$ as a laborer than I made as a Manager at my previous job.

As far as cattle goes, I am kinda watchin from the sidelines, with the exception of the Dunbeacon Venture embryos that are shared with Brian Banzet. It's only an hour's driving time (OK....IF I am driving) from Springdale, AR to Chetopa, KS. Current employment keeps me so tired, that I haven't the time to go and visit Brian on a regular basis.

Winter has been milder than normal for Us. It hasn't been below Zero ( Farenheit) here, yet, this year, and No Snow. Then again, February and March aren't  here, yet, either.

Enough about Me.

How've Y'uns been doing?

GB they called me you...i am taking that as a compliment. I just noted hoof size on a heifer. Said I was sounding like GB.
Glad you are doing well. Good to see a post back.

Glad to hear you are doing well GB. I was just afraid you had tripped over a straw and a chicken kicked you. I am glad to hear that your new job is working out. There is nothing wrong with hard work provided you get rewarded for it.

I think we must have had your share of the cold stuff. I don't there there has been more than three days in the last month that got up to -20 as a daytime high. It is -20 right now, and I put about 100 cows through the chute by myself,  this afternoon and gave some shots and Ivomec. It was actually quite nice and the cows were warm as toast from the sun. If I can get a good long day tomorrow, I should have them all done. It is supposed to be up to 30F this weekend. Everyone up here will be digging out their shorts again!

Good to see you post GB.  When you get the time, I have a heifer and a steer that you might like.
