Santo and Johnny meet Roy Buchannon-Jeff Beck has stated many times that Buchannon was a major influence-and his style abruptly changed in 1971+- when he heard a bootleg-Sweet Dreams (live Buchannon U-Tube Circa-1973) would be a clear example. There are also(u-Tube) some crackly live Beck Group-(with Rod the mod and Ron Wood) on thier first (1968)-tour,which shows him at the peak of his blues period-competing with Jimi Hendrix-Clapton etc. It is just phenominal guitar work.Roy Buchannon told me it was the best guitar hed heard-and I finally found the bootleg-30+ years later its on U-Tube.

Does that mean my choice sucked?  I can't read between those lines. I have never listned to Usher.

No, you should have been around chico back in the day.  also neil young puts on an acoustic concert every year for some malady his son has out here.

i think usher works on his 6-pack more than his singing so he can wear a suit without a shirt to cover up his singing.

OK I thought thats what you were saying. My bad.
Another timeless classic IMO. A little culture for the folks who jam to P Diddy and 50 Cent. This guy was right there with Mr. Beck. Found this stuff when I was 19 at college and never looked back. Blows the modern day crap out of the water. Nothing like hauling cattle across country jamming out to this music. Good videos knabe!

Yea-there are alot of timeless traveling tunes. My raves-Any Bloodwyn pig-Mick Abrahams is still a unique Brit bluz jazz guitar-way ahead of his time, Early Beck,Blues Breakers -Clapton Mayall-Fresh Cream-(Im so glad-Rollin and tumbilin),Roy Buchannon:-Livestock,Loading Zone,1st album,The Animals-1st-and 1st -Burden-animals,Paul Butterfield Bluz band-LOS LOBOS-probably the greatest original band ever-more self penned styles than anyone-ask Eric Clapton-Wynwood,or Jeff Beck. Robert Plant just did one of thier tunes-ditto on the originality etc. O0
