"She does live in Ohio and she is a spring calver,  Captain is running with a group of falls right now.
Jamie -  does this mean you would be interested in progeny of a mating of Lakeside Clementine 705T to Captain Obvious?"

Saw Clementine's Son x Captain last summer. He was nice looking dude. very masculine some natural thickness and his momma looked great too.
That is a 329 bull calf you saw last summer. He does look like a chunk.

Jaimie, I have a full sib to Lakeside Clementine 705T in my herd
She is Lakeside Clementine 813U and is turning into a pretty good cow.
Bred to calve this spring to my Muridale Bonanza 85W bull
She is at Jamie's Shady Lane farm at Mortlach

She could be flushed to CO if I can get his semen in Canada

Jamie -Captain is in North east  Missouri, the town is not on the map ;) but very near hannibal. Nathan and Kayla Cunningham are apart of a large family operation. Nate has a son of captain too. Captain is covering a group 50 black cows.

Does this mean that Lakeside Clementine 705T might be bred to Captain Obvious this year? (clapping)

i think she lives in OH

She does live in Ohio and she is a spring calver,  Captain is running with a group of falls right now.

Actually if I were to pick a breeding for Clementine 705T I probably would breed her to the Northern Legend 3N bull as it would be a neat blend of Canadian and American genetics. I know Braun Ranches are excited about 4 full sib heifer calves ( 3ET and 1 natural) out of Northern legend 3N cow and sired by Alta Cedar Ultimate 130K (grandsire of Clementine!)I do admit that I would be very interested to see what she would do if mated to CO as she has been quite the producer rarely missing.  With that said I am broke due to my excessive purchasing 2011 edition (2 flushes, 2 heifer calves, 1 yearling, 1 cow and some embryos)... I will be posting a picture on Checking cattle pictures of the Lazy H J heifer and her new bull calf fondly known as Doug...
