I wanted to share a few pictures of a couple of the herd sire prospects we have out of A&T Cattle Co.'s cows that we are leasing here in Ohio. This may be the only time these cows will calve to A&T Renegade 124 because they go back to Nebraska next year after calving to GS&J Captain Rob 3X in 2015.
Pictured top to bottom:
JTM OUTCAST 418 (BW: 80 lbs.)
JTM DEFECTOR 412 (BW: 78 lbs.)
From behind pic of both.

More pictures to come because we have 5 other bull calves like these. 1 is sold already. Any questions let me know!

I like the 412 calf. In the shorthorn deal did the durham red thing ever take off (i.e. red angus x shorthorn?) these calves would nic well there.

Thanks for the comments. The Renegade calves have been very consistent and uniform. I'm kind of torn as to which ones I like the most. There is another bull calf that I still need to get a picture of. As far as weights the Resistance bull is the high growth performer and he is right around 675 lbs. in that picture. The rest of them are right around 525-550 lbs. They have had zero creep feed up until yesterday. They are all still on the cow too. These bulls are all out of cows owned by A&T Cattle Co. in Hay Springs, Nebraska. Those cows go back to Nebraska as our lease deal ends next fall when we wean off our GS&J Captain Rob 3X calves. I can say with confidence that these bulls are the hardy commercial type that will make cattle that work for you. That has been my experience with these genetics from A&T. Can't stress enough how fortunate we have been to have had this opportunity to create an awesome foundation of Shorthorn cattle!

Thanks r.n. reed. Very well said about Aaron too. He knows his stuff and holds them to very high standards with little forgiveness in culling. That is what attracted me to his program to begin with and it has definitely proved true in our results. It is amazing the difference between where he is and where my cattle are in about the same amount of time. My cows are getting culled left and right but it's already working and people are starting to show up.  (thumbsup)

Like 412 and 402.  You seem to have had an exceptional season, judging by the grass and calves.

The bull in the background is GS&J Captain Rob 3X. Yes, we are considering selling A&T/JTM Rebellion. He will be a two year old this spring. A very good son of A&T Renegade 124. We are only thinking of it because of these bull calves we have on the ground. We just haven't made up our mind which one to keep yet...
