I have four American/American cross cows going to be bred this week and after a lot of thought I have chosen B.I.M to use on them in the hope of abc steers. This is our first time trying AI and I was wondering if he works good on American cows. I couldn't find any pics to go by. One has had 2 calves the other 3 one calf. These will not be for major shows this time around. If it works out we may do that for next year. The cows are char x brangus, beefmaster x limmie and 2 registered brangus. Thank you in advance for any replies.

Champion American at Fort Worth was a BIM out of Brangus cow.  I would be worried about temperament, heifer maternal ability and foot size personally.  But it works I guess.

I know disposition is an issus that's why I gave it some careful thought before choosing him. I know he is hot right now but you don't hear much about him or any other club calf bull being used on Americans. I was just wondering if he clicked with them.

I like the walks Alone Americans a little more, on those abc calves the most course calves turn out to Be the best fats, and walks alone never fails to chunk one up
