The calves were all having a lazy spring evening away from their mothers tonight when I was doing chores so I thought I'd get a few snapshots.  The light wasn't that great and they were trying to hide in the bushes, but you might get an idea of what they look like!!

Yes, we will be selling all our male calves and a few heifers.  We also will have several calves later this summer from females that we have sold to other area producers.

So far the Oakbar males for sale are:

Wally--2/1--Jakes Proud Jazz X  Centurion/CF 10 Queens

Weston--3/3--ArSuLu Tonic  X  Sonny/Charmer(full brother to the bull we showed last year)

Winchester--3/9--TM Gus  X Trump/Lovely Lady

Wyatt--3/26--Majors Money Man  X  Vegas/Eionmor Mr Gus

Lynn, nice set of calves. What is the calf in the top pic with the most white on it? Looks very good from behind. We are just getting started calving with 9 on the ground and a short 20 knocking on the door so to speak. So far this year, I am not as disappointed as I usually am @ this point. I'll have one of the kids post some pics up after the calves get a chance to grow and develop some. Calves born so far are out of Wilson, Point Taken, ACC1 Hustler, Dirty Hairy, & Gig Joe.

Brent,

The calf with the white hind legs is the Gus calf we call Winchester.  He's also pictured in the bottom picture by himself.  I just posted the first picture to show how they little twerps were hiding from me--there's five calves in that picture--all in the brush.

Tadple,

The Who heifer is coming along really well.  She was one of the calves that was succesful in hiding in the bushes so I didn't get any good pictures of her.  I'll try to get a few more snapshots in a couple of days and put them on SP.

Thanks for your interest in our calves!!

Lynn
