Put up some milo stubble this fall.  Wondering if anybody else has tried this and how well the cows eat it.  We windrowed it with a loftness shredder and will run it through the processor at feeding.  If anybody has any experience with this did you inject the bales with anything or put out any other supplement?  Got a neighbor that would like to buy some any clues on how to price these would also be appreciated. Thanks in advance.

If you cut it the same day that it was combined it will make desent hay. But if you waited until later to cut it the plant will pull the sugars back into the roots and the cows do not like it as much and it is mainly just filler then.

If it is cut while still green and baied correctly it makes decent hay.  In the field it sold for $30 for a 5 by 6 bale (appox 1300 lbs) in central Texas this year.  Try to use it first since it doesn't weather as well as grass hay.
