The sun was shining and they were WILD!!! So please forgive the fact that they were looking at me, they weren't standing the best in the world and they were taken with the camera on my phone!
#1 is a dreamcatcher heifer
#2 is a Duff New Attraction heifer. Of course she would get her ears frostbit.
#3 is our Northern Lite bull calf out of a first calf heifer. He was our first Northern Lite but from the way he is turning out we will be using him again. He was WAY too busy chasing the dog to even let me get close and get a decent picture. I wouldn't have gave 15 cents for him when he was born, ugly, knockkneed little noodle but now at two weeks he doesn't even look like the same calf.
#4 is out of our herd bull (OCC Legend X 77U cow) and a Playray on an Angus cow. If he gets some guts he will be tough to get around.
#5 is out of our herd bull and a commercial Angus cow. She is the one I posted a month or so back that has the huge knot on her knee. It has not changed one bit in size and is less noticeable as she is growing. As you can see it hasn't slowed the little fat girl down a bit.
