New to beef feeder calves.  Have 2 - one heifer and one soon to be steer - he's a bit underweight, due to having the sale barn blues.  I read that you can give them oats to help put on some weight.  Can this be rolled oatd from Quaker that you buy in the grocery store?

THANKS

Thanks for the reply...We did get a corn based mixture from our local elevator.  I saw rolled oats on a website and thought of putting some mixed in with the feed from the elevator.
I didn't want to get the calves sick so I thought I'd check it out.

Thank you for the welcome.
