Looking to buy an aluminum trailer (open to both new or used).  Which manufacturers do you endorse?  What do you consider as the best buy?

We bought a Cimarron last year and love it! It had many of the extras already included in the package, and was delivered to our door. Great customer service!!!
Here is a pic of it (it is the trailer that Kirk Stierwalt endorses). Here is a link to it http://cimarrontrailers.com/?page_id=29

Wilson, toughest they make. Longest lasting. But we have an1981 16ft Featherlite bumper that is still going strong. Has more miles on it than most people's trucks.

I use a 1981 Featherlight bull package almost everyday.  Yes, I have had to do some welding on it and put 1 new axle on it last fall but it has been a hell of a trailer.  I read above where someone else has a 81 model thats still kickin too.  I would venture to guess there aint many aluminum trailers that last 30 years.  Featherlite is reasonable priced too compared to others and have tons of options to go with.

We also still have our early 80's Keifer Built, aluminum goosenceck, we have welded on it several times it has been used and abused for a lot of years and is still being used and still works.  All and all it has been a good trailer it has stood the test of time for us.  I guess the common denominator of everybody here is aluminum, they last, and after years and years of service they are still worth something.  :)  A good question to ask would be who is the closest dealer, service is worth something.

Really depends where you are from.  Or what good dealer you have... If you live in the mid west you can't go wrong with EBY ... Wilson is also very good.  Barrrett is good as well. Those are my 3 top pics... Owned a 4 star  not bad but its not an EBY...  Would not buy a Featherlite but that is just me!

Not the prettiest, flashiest or cheepest but without a doubt the most rugged well built is an EBY. I would agree that Wilson and Barrett are a close second in whatever order but for my money it is an EBY!

I agree with you about the EBY trailers however I bought a new Sooner24x7 Ranch in 2002 and have not had a single issue with it.
