Cathy,  Kent Habeger's display was pretty darn cool.  He didn't have a bull there.  His new bull is the fall char.  In the same display area as past years,  he had a banner up that too promote all his bulls.  There were flyers handed out on all his bulls and always someone to viset about the bulls.  He gave away his calving record book.  He also supplied reftreshments for everyone.  2 differen Marg. Machines to choose from, free pop, beer and crown for everyone all weekend.  It was pretty impressive hospitality!

Thanks Kent I had my fill! (clapping)

Some other observations.  There was another breeder there that had several displays set up the same way.  All had very nice banners.  The display ramp was set up different than I have done it and looked sharp, maybe a little steep.  They used two short pannels and angled them so that the display was wider in the back.  Instead of a rubber mat just for the front, they had a mat cut out for the whole bulls area and at the same angle as the whole display.  The mat was on top the shavings bed.  They than coverd the mat with a light layer of shavings.  This made for a nice solid platform. A good idea!  The only thing I would change, the color of the shavings in the whole display booth.  The shavings were dark black.  Colors can set a mood and It gets cloudy in Denver in January so it made it hard to see at times.  Nice setup though!
