What is the best Full Flush son out there in your opinion?

Looking into a flush on a Maine Angus cow that needs a bit more neck extension and leaning toward that line of genetics. Thanks!

Friction was superb, but has poor semen quality.

Black Rhino calves won a lot for a while.

Mossy Oak should definitely be on the list.  There are some particularly good Mossy Oak cows running around.  There's some uncertainty as to what he really was being PHA+.  shouldnt have been possible with his pedigree.  But he was good,

Agree with Mossy Oak...always worked well for us and I believe Semen is still relatively low price.

Rick Frye has a bull called Pitch Black who was a PHA Free full brother to The Godfather.  i have used him some in the past few years and really like the calves.  more moderate and bigger bellied than most flush genetics and they are super looking females

What kinda cow would you use if you still had some Full flush semen to use ....

I hadn't done it myself, but if you have any real sound, real short, soggy cows I would think he could sure pretty them up.  These judges are backing off the overwhelming thickness quite a bit and going for complete, complete, complete calves.  I do think some of the older clean bulls could work on some of these crossbred females we produce now.  The whole problem would be soundness most likely.  That generation of bulls is the root of our common problems more so than the bulls we use now in my opinion.

Guys around us 10 years ago had a lot of success using Full Flush on Meyer/OCC females. I will say though that Full Flush cattle can be a little crazy form time to time and like Chambero said you can run into structural proplems.

Full Flush is who made Meyer 734 famous.  That combo now is a little too tall.  Does anyone know what Full Flush on pb Ohlde angus does?

Never had any structure problems with any of the direct Flush calves I had, and honestly had very few attitude problems.  Why not go back and use him or one of the clones instead of a son?  I always got along best with Godfather and Mossy Oak as far as his son's went.

Several years ago I bought some embryos of a mating that was a previous NWSS grand steer. My experience with full flush is that the good ones don't come on and finish until they're at least 18 -19 months. Most need to fill out in there flank and are a little rounded in their muscle structure. They usually need good hair to look pretty and don't slick favorably. Never practice bad behavioral responses with Full Flush offspring... They never forget or forgive.

If my memory serves me right, I had a full brother to this steer that is pictured in 2004 that I showed hot a heavy that later went on to win his class at the American Royal. Pictured is his brother which I believe was a Full Flush. I can not remember the cow however.
