Working on breeding options for club calves.  I really like what I have seen in the clubby bull Here I Am.  However, I would like some more middle and depth in a slightly smaller frame package.  In your opinion...

Who is the BEST Here I Am son that fits this scenario?

Not a whole lot of HIA sons that have offspring yet or at least a good sample. Some bulls I’m considering that go back to HIA are wynne in doubt and risk it for the biscuit of wades.

All in One is full brother to HIA and is owned by Phil Lautner. Phil hasn't promoted him as much as some but the bull is out of the 805 HeatWave dam of Traceys that probably has more promoted sons than any other donor cow.It is amazing well how double and triple line breeding to Heat Wave has worked A bull that hasn't been used as much that we leased is Man Against Machine and the results are excellent so far. We also used Honest Abe and he seems to be breeding the same as his highly promoted full brothers but will mostly be black but calving ease has been good in that 85/90# range. We hear a lot of good about Red Rocky .

Talked to Wade at the Ohio Beef Expo today, he said that Wynne in Doubt is probably a sounder/ better version of HIA and will add or keep belly and softness. Like the fact that he is Angus and linebred Full Flush, as the females should be decent in production too. I’m going to try some of him and not a big fan of first year bulls.
