What are some of the best online auctions you all have had experience with? The reason I ask is I had found one I was interested in and then I forgot what it was? Work does not allow me enough time to play! (lol)

Lots of options out there.

Steer Planet is now offering a service, but under a very different framework.  No percentage fees, $20 per lot, but a little more legwork for seller in listing their lots and collecting payment.

1.  Fill out this online form and let us know you are interested in hosting a sale on Steer Planet.
2.  We will contact you to finalize the dates and determine the other details of the sale.
3.  We will then create a auction page for your sale and you will then be able to login and add your lots to your sale.
4.  You can have no reserve lots, reserve lots, or buy-it-now lots.
5.  We will create a banner for your sale and it will be advertised on SteerPlanet at no charge.
6.  Your sale will begin on the date your specified.
7.  Anyone that is a member of Steer Planet Classifieds or registered to bid on any other sale, are able to bid on your sale.
8.  Once your sale ends, you will be sent the buyers information, and the buyer will be sent the seller's information to complete the transaction.
9.  SteerPlanet is not involved in the financial transaction of the sale

Just starting out, 1st Inaugural Auction will be on 2/25 - Matt Lautner Cattle Online Semen Sale

We have a fairly good list of people interested in using it and starting to book dates.  It is not a completely managed solution, you still need to list your own lots and collect payment at the end, but for the little extra work, there is a ton of savings.

I also believe by already being on a very high traffic site essentially many of our users are bidders.

thanks for the replies that cwauctions was the one I was looking for. I have not looked at the others yet but I will when I get a second. That sounds really good Jason I will keep that in mind when if and when we decide to to an auction. Right now we just use them to shop a little bit but that sounds like another good one to visit for that purpose as well.
