Daughters heifer
« on: October 06, 2010, 08:17:51 AM »
Finally got our state fair pictures!  Danielle won Champion 4-H MaineTainer at the MO State fair.  I'm so proud of her and all her hard work.  Thought I'd share with ya!  She's a Dr.Who x Kadabbra.  We have her bred to Majors Money Man.  I'd like to thank Bob and Colleen Majors for such a great heifer once again this year! (thumbsup)  Of course the state fair didn't give the Show Circuit and other major magazines the MaineTainer results.  Wish they new how heartbreaking it is to a kid to see everyone elses picture from the state fair and forget the entire MaineTainer group.

Very nice!...Got that great Kadabra front.  Congratulations to Danielle.  Many of us know what it's like to have our Kids' pictures overlooked.  Thanks for posting.

Brett...she's 12 years old and 5'9" tall already.  Heaven help me!  I'm 5'9" and Eric is 6'6" so she's bound to be tall!  With her long legs, my husband said he's gonna start packing a rifle for shows lol

Congratulations!  12 and 5'9" ------- I'm Constantly looking for a Center.  Does she play hoops?  LOL
Seriously, that is an awesome picture!  We got our Pearl Pics back as well!  In fact,  my daughter is in the same pose, but with a pink ribbon and state plaque.  Not quite as tall either, 4'11 at 9.   ;)

Yep she plays basketball.  Tonite is her first official practice in Jr. High.  Our JH team combines 7th and 8th grade, can you imagine, she's the 3rd tallest!  Let's hope they can get a gaurd now!

We are big enough that we get to field a 7th grade A and B and an 8th grade A and B.  We start Wed of next week.  Not sure how it will go.   I coach the 8th grade and we have a young lady this year that can play the 1 .... and esp. the 5.  She is 6'1, dribbles, posts, passes.... and best of all comes from a great family.  She is humble and a dream of a kid!  Sometimes .... not quite selfish enough with the rock, but never-the-less, it will be a fun year.

Pass along a good luck to your girl please!
