Best in terms of what? /// You stole the words outta my mouth-basically the some old duel in terms of type. I like some of the other ones like-FF RED MAN,NBS Low Rider,Day Break Express,Red Storm . and UB DMCC TOP FUEL (only cuz hes my breading lol) and the one Cannondale bought from Sullivan-out of that good Kieth Lauer bull, and a full sis to Red Reward. But these are just functional (in some cases showy) bulls to moderate BWS-without sacrificing style-hope you all like my ad lol. I second that!! There are so many different areas. For me none of those bulls are the best on the market but it all depends on what your trying to do.

Thanks, dhs

To me it is clear that Captain Obvious is the best bull of that group when comparing all traits. I think we need to do a Shorthorn bull tournament!!! That would be cool...

I Would add Talladega to the list. We have had about 20 calves from 84 to 94 on most of them, the biggest one so far over due by 11 days was 104 on a cross bred. and a shorthorn was 104. They all look extremely thick and hairy. Go Semex Beef and see his new pic.

Two of my better donors will be flushed to Talladega on Thusday (March 28th) so I have crossed my fingers for good results. I have already got some spoken for from a Shorthorn breeder in England if we have good flushes. That is also sale day for our Sun Country sale so I am hoping for good news on all fronts!

To me all the bulls mentioned do what they do well but they are really apples, oranges, pears, in that I mean they really are very different bulls. Each one has his fit depending on what you want to do .......

Hey JIT,  (off topic here, please excuse) hope your sale went well, results??
will be using a Pioneer/MaxRosa son the next 2 seasons now but looking forward to some RockStar sons in the future. Have emailed you before about him and can't wait to see his progeny. Let me know what you think of our Pioneer son at:  nextgenerationfarms.com  on the herd sire page. Still young and growing but I am excited about him and then to maybe use RockStar or a son of his back on his progeny. Take care and hope your sale went well!!
