Personally I would rather use an An. cow with a 3/4 to PB Char. bull than use a crossed up Clubbie bull although I heard that Alias has been putting some good females out. Watch the structure though.

We have an Alias heifer out of a Black Impact/Foreplay cow and she is very straight. I think she will stay sound enough but we should have examined her structure better before we bought her.

Don't want to take the focus off your question muleman, but does anyone have any suggestions on what to breed to a straight Alias female to keep em sound?

Not sure it matters the colour of the cow but use on cows with NO clubbie blood. We have had 4 calves by him. Three were out of cows that have never had a crippled calf but, one was a Meyer/angus, one a Habanero/angus and cant remeber the other. All three were a reck and bulls. The only good one was a heifer out of a reciep cow and a clean up bull we had . She was and is good and is still sound.

Alias works really good on good structured angus cows.  My best calf the past 2 years has been an Alias out of a Future Direction x 6I6 angus cow.  Last year she had a smokey steer that topped the club calf futurity sale at the OYE.  This year she has a black heifer that we are going to keep to be my daughters first show heifer.  The smokey steer actually brought a litlle over twice as much as what I had priced him to people that had looked at him at my house.
