Faber's Iowa State Fair champion. HW x Jack Frost. The clone wasn't as good in my opinion, but same result  :)

Big Mac.....shown in 1972. Was shown as a white steer in American Royal and a black steer in the National western. Historic stuff. Exotic envasion. Purebred cattle bullpoop.

It is hard to say.  I liked the Ft Worth calf this year, Faber's '08 Iowa steer was a beast.  There have been several I have seen that I cant remember exactly where they were, but those are a few that stood out to me!

The 2012 Fort Worth champ was pretty gosh darn special.

Depending on how he finishes in the end, I think that the Marrow Monopoly steer(sold by Goretska, raised by Brian England and now being shown by Bonhams) COULD end up being one of the better steers in recent memory. I think he'll end up at Kansas City. He's won 23+ shows.

Really liked Steirwalt's champ at Denver a few years back too.

Yes, Crowd Favorite 1 and 2 are both clones of that calf.

That's a neat video! Pretty funny how the judge said that then the steer got loose, thought the char should've been reserve or 3rd though

Brock May's blonde steer that won the Royal in 2005?  Was great as a calf, champion prospect in Denver, and great as a fat.

That Morrow steer that was sold by Goretska. He's now owned by Launters or Bonhams or something. Hes pretty salty and I cant wait to see how he turns out later on.
