Just would like to get everyone's opinion on the best solution for keeping my cattle cool at the show.

Our fair is next week and we are expecting temps in the mid 90's. we are taking our Porta Cool and lots of fans. During the hottest part of the day we will throw a couple of bags of ice in the water tank of the PortaCool. Good luck.

What is a Portacool? Do many people use them at shows?
It's a water cooler. No we are the only ones at our county that bring one. But we are really the only people whose steers are kept in a cool room. They are pretty big and some places won't allow them because they take up so much room.

They look like a really good idea if like you said room was available for them. They seem bulky. Have you had any experience with the Schaefer F5 fan? I know everyone seems to use the Turbo, but this fan looks like it could be a much better fan.
