If I bought the flush, I would be aiming not at show heifers so much, but would probably lean toward some vintage bulls that are proven cowmakers such as leachman right time, vermillion dateline and Nichols extra k205.  Ambush 28 and bushwhacker would be potentials too.

GoWyo - That's a cool idea.  I see her as more of a foundation female with the maternal traits she already carries.  The Vermillion Dateline idea really intrigues me.  I could see that really working.

I agree with GoWyo. I would go old school. If she were mine I would look into Simmental Leachman 600U, Or Power Drive for some really nice cows.

I could too.  I don't know too many Angus pedigrees but anything similar to EXT in phenotype is direction I'd be going.  Vermillion looks like a good fit in maybe the larger package you're looking for.

And would you look at that.  Vermillion's MGS is Right Time, an EXT son  <cowboy>

I was looking at Vermillion Dateline as being a couple generations from EXT so that it was in there, but not stacked too tight as NYK had some concern about all the psychotic fire with EXT, Net Worth and Hot Rod in there as well.  Leachman Right Time and Vermillion Dateline should keep it manageable if the cow herself has a good disposition.  I think the bull calves would be very marketable as well.

We have used vrd a lot here. Never have had a disposition problem with a single one and the Bulls are very marketable! Cows are a little hard doing but raise a big calf and breed up.

Hard doing shouldn't be an issue with this cow.  I swear you could feed her sawdust year round and she'd look the same.  The only animal in the show string that hasn't stayed in on feed and she's the fattest.  Her son this year bred 20 heifers for his new owners and they put him with 20 cows after because he "looked exactly like the day you dropped him off".

The Angus power bulls such as vermillion dateline, Young Dale Xcalibur and Unanimous all good choices.  Is Plattemere Weigh Up a ame we can add to this list?  Given that you want more frame and she is easy keeping this might be viable.
Why restrict yourself to one flush How about differrent flushes to different bulls in differrent breeds?
Since you are into Limousin as well what Limo bull would you use on her to get Limi Flex?
Would a simmental work here for you?  I am thinking of the Lewis farms simmental program  and their bull 3D BLK FULL THROTTLE 483X.  After all they are a strong program both for angus and simmental and this helps marketing the calves.

Good Point Mark H.  I was talking to my wife before the catalogue went out and I said that I thought a Simmental bull would be ideal for her.  Any of the popular black bloodlines these days should work as long as there is enough growth.  FBF1 Combustible comes to mind as a solid mating, or wallbanger and his sons.

As for limos that's one of my plans is to flush her that way in the future.  This year I hope to rebreed her after this flush but next year I may do multiple flushes (assuming all goes well this year).  Lots of limo bulls would work great on her.  Only trait to watch would be DOC but there's lots of good options that are safe that way.  Big thing would be focusing on the traditional limo strengths of muscle and carcass traits.

Here's a bull I thought would compliment her nicely.  Ellingston Dominance
