Heck, you won't get a nickel for that sucker. Send him on down to CO and we'll feed him out for ya. Save you a boatload of money in the long run.  (lol)

Had one just about that same color we showed this past summer out of Sunseeker.  Calf's dam was black but I think it was here great great dam was the same color and was the first calf that was colored up like that out of 3 or 4 bred that way.  Did real well with him so the color didn't hurt.  Won a couple shows and won his class at our state fair feeder calf show.

I have the worst luck getting black calves.  We bred SunSeeker to a true half blood( PB Angus x Fullblood Maine)  Maine Angus cow and look at the calf we got.
Oh MY GOSH! I think the term Full blood MA is the key to the color pattern that you got. The old MA are red and spotted--very similar to your new arrival. Also, Sunseeker, is not a purebreed of any breed. No telling what colors are in his background...At least you know not to breed this cow to him again. Try using some non-diluter semen.

He turned out real well ; red/white, black or blue, he turned the feed into meat and kept it in a neat package, congratulations.

Most of mine depend on the dam, cause I have had quite a few around 80-90 and then I have some cows that throw 100lb calves no matter what and with sunseekers its usually a 95-105 lb heifer and bulls run 100-130.
