Black Ice Maine bull

Anyone have any idea what the semen value of the old Black Ice Maine Anjou bull is worth, if anything??  MA1068 S

$10? he has no milk, no commercial utility and his show utility days are over.


bulls like these should be used to discover markers for no milk.


Maine's (fullbloods) used to have enough milk for twins.


somehow, through ingenuity, the milk has been bred out of some lines, especially show lines.

Thanks for the feedback, bought a semen tank with some old bulls in it, didn't want to throw out anything that had any value. 

Also had some Built Right N48 in the tank, know he's a good Simmi but haven't seen any of his semen sell lately, any idea on this bull?

Only other bull in that tank I'm questioning is the old bull Windsor, think the dam of Who Da Man was a Windsor, can anyone verify that??

It seems to be averaging 100, but looks like 138-140 within the last year.

Still checking on the JFZ Windsor clubby bull from the 90's, was told he sired the dam of Who Da Man, curious about the validity of that claim.  Who knows, just don't want to throw out any treasures!! LOL!

"Wilson" was the sire of Sunseeker, the bull I am curious of is "JFZ Windsor", looks alot like Wilson at a glance though!  Thanks for your response, I appreciate all feedback!  Sunseeker I thought sired some powerful cattle, being Sunseeker's sire sure wouldn't have hurt my feelings.
