If you wanna make her wider and stylish, the Grandmaster was a good option! Some of the Meyer daughters/granddaughters that I have seen look like they need a touch more width, so you probably made the right choice! I really like Grandmaster, and he gives them a unique look. His numbers aren't too bad either!

That is kind of what I was thinking on breeding her to him. Seems the grandmaster calves have some width to them. Ill be the first to admit I'm no expert though ! Good chance of another baldy breeding her this way ! Thanks

Haha I'm not an expert either! But I still think he was a good choice! <rock> Actually I forgot that I am breeding a heifer that looks pretty much like her, but without the blaze, to Grandmaster this Fall. Good Luck!  ;D

Lol , I'm pretty attched to my baldys but even more attached to my blaze face simmys , especially the ones with some pedigree behind them ! They do milk well.

I think you made a good choice.  Grandmaster got raked over the coals pretty hard when the updated numbers came out, but the proof is still in his progeny.  His calves carry the same power that he does and with a bald face and Meyer back up the bottom side of that pedigree I see a lot of potential in your choice.  Good luck!  Make sure you let us see that calf when it hits the ground.

Thanks ! I would have to agree , the grandmasters ive seen look pretty good to me and his numbers are still plenty good enough i mean look at the stayability and the milk epds , and the calving ease for that matter ! Not much out there comes close to him with the overall numbers game even after his big number change . The accuracy is pretty good on those numbers too. Im really hoping he clicks on this heifer for me , ya never know i guess !
