It has been 2 days now and at first my steer just had a little blood but last night he tried to poop and all it was was blood now not alot but a fair amount. Anyone have any advice.

DITO on the Corid. Get some ASAP and mix in the water supply for him -- if not the whole pen worth. It is imperative you get after this right away, or you may have a very large surprise some morning -- and not a good one!

And topdress with Decox
We had it this year too. If you don't have any other signs I'd say coccidiosis too. It didn't spread through our barn but your vet should be able to give you several treatment options and an opinion on whether or not to treat all of those in the barn or not.

Do a "search" of blood in stool" or "coccidiosis" or "Corid".... this question comes up frequently on here.

My first thought is coccidiosis also, so the corid would be the treatment. Our calves had a few spots of blood in their stools this year also. Had the vet culture it and they found roundworms, no cocci, so we wormed them again and it has cleared up.

Probably coccidiosis as other posters have noted. It is very contagious so you should probably treat all your calves to be on the safe side.
