Beings Bloodstone is a little more than my pocket book will allow (just curious how much is it now). What is the next best full sib?

Big and Rich is affordable. Its $50 a straw. We haven't used him so i personally don't know how calving is, but I have seen a few of his calves that I like and we have a cow bred to him for a June calf that I am pretty excited about.

The only problem with that group of brothers is they don't breed consistent.  A lot of them have been used on the industry's best cows but it just seems like they all breed a bit different. Kind of like Sonny. They never really replaced him. There are full brothers out there but they also do'nt breed like him. Just an opinion.

I like the Bloodstone calves that WHR will be selling. I like the Controler calves also.

I think John Hagie's Cyclone bull is another full brother.

I like Primo - I've seen some good ones out of him at Sullivans and at other breeders. Doc sold a good one a year or so ago. I think if he was bred to some of the cows his brothers were bred to he would be just as popular. JMHO

then he isn't registerd... I took my list off the ASA website, under progeny registerd from Bloodstone's mother...  She has never mothered a bull calf that wasn't be Trump.  So they are all full brothers, and this is it!!

sorry buddy

If it weren't for the color of CF RINGO, I would think he has to be the one that I liked the most out of them all.  He was by far the stoutest out of the brother at a young age.  I remember seeing him the day that he sold at the Star Search sale.  He looked soooo much better than Primo that day.  He looked awsome in Denver when he won too.  He just seemed to be so far ahead of any of the others.  Too bad we never got to see him mature.

Is it possible they cloned Desert Rose? or did they? Thought they did and maybe he is out of a clone? But if not he is a full brother to the rest.

Sullivan's website lists Cyclone as a full brother to Solution, which would mean he is a full brother to the rest of them, too.  It also lists John Hagie as a co-owner.

You'd have to contact the owners. It sells at auction occasionally and it brings anywhere from $500-1500.

No desert rose has not been cloned at least as of yet. I have worked for Hanhns quite a bit and Tyler was a college roomate of mine and he has never once mentioned it, so I don't think it has happened yet.
