Blue Roan Shorthorn

I am just wondering what everyone thinks about blue roan shorthorns?  Are they worth raising showing ect. ?? Any thoughts please advise!  Thank you!

Thanks we have a steer calf and just wondering what to do with him!  He's awesome!

Thanks thats what we are hoping for!  He's only a week old and we are in Texas.  He's big boned good hipped very sound and hairy!  I'll put pix up in a couple of weeks.  So stay tuned!

I personally like the look of the blue roan Shorthorns, but unfortunately, they do not sell as well as other black cattle at the sell barn.  I actually want one to show this year in the steer or heifer division.

I dont think in this case its a sale barn deal ,so thats a good thing.

One of or friends placed in Fort Worth with theirs.  I like them they def stand out especially when they are good.  This calf we have is the son of jakes proud jazz and he's a beauty!  Great marking on his face and black stocking feet.  I will get some pix this weekend and put them on here to see him!
