I just had this bottom picture heifer calf out of this ChiAngus cow. (Ignore the calf sucking her, that was last years out of the cleanup bull). Hope this helps. I got a little semen left from him I am trying to decide what cows to use him on also.

I hate to say it but you are a little behind on him, unless you can find it private treaty eveyone is out :( and if you do find it private its gonna be very expensive...
but back to your question, ive heard of him working real good on moderate fronted simmie based cows, i was gonna get some of him this year and try him on a couple of my shorties but i dont have deep enough pockets...
if it works, this is a picture of a bojo heifer i bought last fal that is out of a pale face cow, some people may not like her but i cont help but stare everytime i go in the barn  8)

sold a full sib to bojo and have seen some really good ones is why i am interested in spending the money on the semen. I love ali cattle and bojos dam is an absolute freak! Just cant decide if i want to breed this cow ali, bojo, or bodacious. She is a silver heatwave from sullivans dang good one too. Super sound footed, stout, functional overall good cow. big ribbed reminds me a lot of the buttercup cow.

If Bojo weren't a TH carrier then I would say use him on a carrier cow with lots of power.  I had four Bojos this past fall.  Sold one as a maintainer show heifer and the rest went to the sale barn.  My calves were small at birth, had great hair and good dispositions.  Not enough muscle or grow to them to work for me.

Like woodland farms said he works very well on half blood simmy cows and simmy influence females. Just gotta keep them sound.

I have heard he works great on deep soggy angus cows because he doesn't throw a lot of depth of body.We bred him to a 3/4 angus cow that is very deep last year and have a really nice steer out of her.
