Personally, I'd choose another bull. I think there have been better bulls born in the last five years that will add more bone and muscle than Blue Blood can.

I dont think he is. Not 100 percent sure. Personally to add some bone and muscle I might go with Online, but his semen was priced at 4 digits last I checked. I've seen some Reloads with a lot of bone and muscle. But overall I would go with a real good Online son or Online himself if budget permits. Good Luck!!!!

Are you breeding for registered herefords or clubby, percentage herefords. If you are wanting those club calfs that have hereford coloring it would be hard to beat those % Hereford Bulls. For Purebreds I like Cyrus and Sturgis as newer bulls, but I wonder if Sturgis's maternal sib Nitro would be better - Nitro did have a much better show career. There are many good bulls. What's the genetics of your cows? Do you have any photos of them handy? What's worked (or hasn't) in the past?

Haven't heard anything of the Double Eagle bull. Is there any more information on him?

If you are looking for a "registered Hereford", and are looking for bone and muscle I would consider Reload, Hard Drive, possibly Hard Rock, and Cyrus--probably others,as well, but those quickly came to mind. Not to say those are necessarily my favorite Hereford bulls, but they would probably accomplish what you are looking for.

Driver, Your in MD right? Check out Stone Ridge Manor across the border in PA. Star Orlando is a really nice bull and he put a lot of thickness on his calves. Saw a newborn on the morning of one of thier sales and its butt was NICE!!!!!
