His semen is $500 a straw, so unless you are thinking about flushing him I would look at one of his sons Purple Milsap 45S for $35 a straw.

He's probably not the Herf bull I would use on Maine cows --for several reasons, including the fact that Moler semen is $500/straw. There can also be some structural issues, his daughters are not all "real maternal", and they tend to not be easy fleshing cows....

He's a pretty good bull, has thrown countless national champions and high sellers. But semen price being what it is, I would with BR DM Channing ET, his full brother, if you are dead set on those genetics. But if you are just looking to get that hereford pattern on a maine cow, I'd go with Carpe Diem.
