I was looking for some help from anyone out there that has used a donkey to break calves.  I have heard that donkeys can help break stubborn calves and I have one right now.  Can any donkey be used?  Does anyone have one they would like to sell?  What is the process?  Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,

I have used a donkey for years. I probably went through 20 or more to find one that suited me, not all are user friendly and some are just plain mean. If you can find one that is super quiet and gentle buy it! I priced mine this spring for a truck load of money and then prayed they wouldn't buy him. RW

Where are you located?  We live in Texas and at the livestock sale each week you can usually find donkeys for $50 or $100.  I have heard that jenny's are a little easier to work with than jack's.  Supposedly you just tie them together and let the donkey drag the calf around.
