Good luck. Seeing as how JPJ daughters have the pelvic volume of a golf ball.

More than 5, less than 10. Never had one calve unassisted, and we don't use high BW bulls.

You might take a look at SVFI UNcle 875U ? I dont consider our operation "clubby" but I have looked at this bull in person back when he was 18 mos old.  He is really sound, lots of rib shape  and  breeds alot of style with a ass end which is tough to find in shorthorn . We flushed a captain daugther to him and my niece and nephew AI'd to him 2 captain daugthers late last summer. I get a kick out of longevity - regardless of the breed. This fella has it. I dont own any part of him but adore the breeder, as we flushed to Uncle's sire too- 5 paternal brothers from a fall ET project with Clark Farms Shorthorns, IA  ( all of these bulls look promising) If you're facebook friends we have posted photos recently and we have photos of Uncle, his dam and his sire on my web page. Uncle is owned by Mid Continent, Waymar and Courville Farms. I know Cattle Visions has semen - more then likely others will catch on as this sire can make both sexes very marketable.

I have over 20 either daughters or granddaughters and I haven't had any problems w/ them calving.  They calve out on pasture though in maybe a bcs of 5--never any 'pone fat' lol so therein prolly lies the difference.
