Breeding opinions?

Well here we go again, only got 1 out of 4 cows bred, the ones that didn't stick were to Predator and I-80. I had this cow bred to predator but didn't stick. I got to thinking maybe I-80? What do you think? I have other bulls in the tank including DJC Shake & Bake(Parker son), ZNT Montego Bay, Mercedes Benz, Highlander, BK Lifeline, Ali in the tank. This cow is a Strictly Business x Perfect timing 2nd calver. I'm not looking for anyone trait, just looking for a solid calf, this cow seems to stamp her calves her first calf was out of a Bismarck Lim-flex and the calf looked exactly like her at a younger age. Her registration # is 406311 for anyone wanting to look at the pedigree.

We seem to be the exception and this is not the popular opinion but I-80 flat out didn't work on our cows.  Especially on cows like yours. 

If you are going with what's in your tank my pick would be Mercedes Benz.

Whizard worked well on our cows that might be similar to yours to compare.  He lengthened them out for sure.  Low bws and tons of vigor and grow.  For a different angle MAB worked really well in a different way. 

I've had great success with the one calf I had out of him, but not sure if he would work on this particular cow.

From your tank contents, Benz hands down.  Stylish, good hair, easy calving, and I'll bet if you get a heifer it will be an above average one.

The A.I. conception will need to be there of course.  The basic things to ensure are a good health/vaccination/mineral program,  closely managed cycling and heat detection, and proper A.I. technique and semen handling.    Following a skip of that first cycle post A.I., pull blood (28 days) and use Biopryn testing.  You can get a good solid second, and maybe third shot at A.I. if needed.

I would go with the Montego Bay.  If you thought that I-80 would work on her, Montego Bay is a good alternative.  Pedigree wise, he is very similar to I-80 with the Ali on the top side, and Hardcore on the bottom side.  He has also proven himself as a VERY consistent low birth weight sire.  After birth, they have developed into competitive steers and heifers.  The top heifer consignment in my opinion to the Bluebonnets & Buckles Online Sale later this month is a Montego Bay out of a Sooner donor cow.

I agree.

I just took inventory, and found Amen as well as some Frye The Messenger. Any opinions on what these bulls could do on this cow?

Amen would be a large BW and moderate the cow, Messenger is apparently supposed to be a maternal bull so he will do the same thing as benz in theory
