Looking for breeding reccomendations for my 4year old heatwave cow. She's clean fronted, frailer boned, and needs to be stoutned up. She had a heifer sired by no worries this year..
Looking at breeding her to renegade blues, dakota gold.... or something else thats clubby. She's a TH carrier, waiting on PHA results..

No apologies. Don't go off his picture or the fact that he wasn't promoted heavy- just do it and give me first chance to look at the calf and thank me later

This bull is Uptown Funk. THF/PHAF. We bought a cane from Chris Wilson and used all 10 straws. I attached a picture so you can decide for yourself.

I'd think again before I'd use American Sniper. I know a guy who had about 10-15 cows bred to him. I know of two cows that he buried. Exact words were "makes heat wave look easy calving". I'd check into comfort zone

I've had real good luck with hairy bear and also crimson tide.  I had a few sniper calves this year and had no bw problems and so far like the looks of them.  Anytime you have heat wave in the blood you can always have big ones. I also think bw problems sometimes can come from the way cows are fed the last 45 days of pregnancy.  To much corn makes big calves. Just my 2 cents
