Hey All I have some questions on angus cows and clubby semen.I have came up to a final seven bulls that I am thinking of breeding to my 20 grade angus cows to. All of my cows are moderate boned except about 6 that are pretty heavy boned. They all need lots of width and need to be bred to a bull that kind of freaks his calves because these cows really are quite plain. So here is my list
Sun Seeker
Heat Wave Clones wish I could afford the real one :D                                                                  I also have 12 registered cows that I think I can handle ;) ;D
Sin City
Red Hot
Meyers climax 50R                                                                 Please give any opinions on my list or any others that you would suggest
Doctor Who
Gigolo Joe
And maybe Buck Cherry

Of the bulls on your list I would keep

These 2 will give you what I think you want, if you don't mind PHA carrier I would add Irish Whiskey to that list
Sun Seeker
Heat Wave
Love these 2, but I don't think they will give you the wide freaks on plain Angus cows, but you would get some really nice calves
Doctor Who
Gigolo Joe
Don't like Sin City, don't know anything about Meyers Climas 50R
I guess if it were me, I would not consider Red Hot or Buck Cherry, haven't heard anything about any calves from them that would put them on my hot list and they are both red.  If I was going that route, I'd just stick with Heat Seeker.

If you want to make replacement females out of the plainer made angus cows, go with OCC LEgend or OCC ANchor. THen breed those females to Dr. Who or some of the others.

By the way you described your cows,I would stouten up your Angus genetics first, then try your crossbreeding program. The suggestions OH.Breeder gave you would work just fine. For us,BEB Juneau has done a good job, especially adding a little extra bone and great hair. And let me tell ya, the Juneau's cross extremely well with ANY breed. Good Luck
