Wondered if anybody had any breeding ideas for this girl. She's a bojo out of a hot line cow so she's a 3/4 maine. Thanks

If she were mine I would go with BIM. She looks like she's a little dirty fronted and for me he tends to clean them up pretty good. JMO

Firstly how old is she, and is she small framed?  The Bojo's that we have are very small framed cattle, are you wanting to stay with a maine sire or something else, and are you looking for steers or heifers?  As a heifer we bred to Gucci and had a nice quality heifer calf.  The same Bojo cow just calved her second calf out of a herd bull and we had a heck of a time getting it out, she could not handle a square made calf with wide hips, so this will probably be her last on our place.  So unless she has really good pelvic structure I would stay away from any higher birth weight bulls.

She has an interesting pedigree and looks good in picture. I like some of the already mentioned sires for calving ease, especially I-80 and Gucci. Mercedes Benz should help to compliment her chunky design as well, and would stack some really productive cow families of Maine genetics. I might also look at some good calving ease Angus genetics that can boost some maternal value, too.

shes a bigger framed cow. she just had her first angus calf this year and was planning on going maine or clubby with her as shes 3 right now. thanks for all the input. she will be a monster. When I showed her at state fair a couple years ago she was over 1400 pounds so shes not a small girl by any means

Thanks everyone. Anymore ideas out there? She's 3 now but just had her first calf out of an angus. She stuffed her first calf after we preg checked. I like the idea of maines or clubbies
