I don't know what it averaged but ill say its the deepest set of cattle I have ever seen next to Griswold sales. The bottom never dropped out of the sale. I was lucky enough to get two bought due with sexed heifers. I would venture to guess the sale averaged 4000 on the bred cows and 3-3500 on bred heifers

I heard it was a good sale with a lot of good cattle bringing honest money. would have been worth waiting for instead of paying double the price at Griswolds

A Friend of mine went and said there were a lot of good females in the 2000-4000 range. he bought a RSVP daughter he plans to flush for $4500, a good simangus heifer that could be a future donor at $2500. he felt that he bought both under the money. really happy with the buys he got.

plenty of great females sold for 2500-3000. It was stated they sold for real money, and that's the complete truth. I watched 90% of the sale (not the open heifers and the pregnancies) and I didn't see one sell for $10,000. But that being said the prices were so consistent. If they were bred to Irish Whiskey, you better have had $5,000 in your pocket. If they were bred to sexed Broker or Driver they sold high too. Now some did go lower but for the most part they went 3000-5000. There were some things that just truly amazed me. 1) I didn't think it was promoted ( which I loved because I got two breds brought for $1000 less than what they were worth), 2) The cows were mainly bred to breed greats ( RSVP, Driver, Broker, Monopoly: then the up and coming, Pilgram, A Step Up, Man Among Boys, Meyer 735, the Answer). None were exposed to a herd bull or to a bull without a big name. 3) I don't know if any of the cows were TH Carriers OUT OF A THOUSAND HEAD!!!! When they named it the incredible female sale, it is truly THE INCREDIBLE FEMALE SALE!

Bought 6 there last year; all were excellent except for one cow (8yr) that was supposedly AI'd to BIM for a March 14 calf. On March 29 she calved a 61 pound bull calf. Definitely not a BIM, no hair, no hip, AND no big BW for being so late. Calf weaned about 300-350 which was the bottom of our calf crop although we topped at 450 as a estimate.
