We really liked his calves. The were smaller at birth HAIRY and stout. When they were born they were just cute little fur balls, but they grew well and seemed to all soften up in the middle quite a bit. the only problem I had with them was that they didn't get very big. Didn't seem to bother the buyers, but I still like my calves a little bigger then most of them.

we used him in limited fashion last year and live next to Siever's who had the really nice one pictured in his ad.  I am very happy with the quality of the cattle as they have deveoloped. He did not add any hair for me, but seems to take what the cow offered and not take it away.  calves are extremely sound, bid middled and certainly stout enough.  Sold the harder haired one for a nice county fair calf and the other will be one of our chi bull entries at the Iowa Beef Expo.  I will use him again,  consistent quality, the right kind and decent grow for me.  I think he can do something special on cows with good hair and a little extra extension.

i have seen the picture in SC and some of the calves.  the calves look extremely cool and stylish.  I can see how you would need to use him on a bigger framed cow.  thanks for the information, might try him in the future!

Been to Mckays saw a bunch of unforgivens.  He looks like to me that he works on a wide variety of cows.  Seen him as a baby calf to mature bull.  And every time I see him he is impressive.
