Man. That's a tough comparison. If I could afford it, I would certainly use OCC Emblazon on my Regs.

the more you look at this matchup you see a bull that makes great females in all aspects of the different industries.  Even though I am an angus guy I don't know too many people who would rather have a double stuff daughter than an emblazon daughter.

Depends on what you're doing with 'em. Apparently 34 of the 70 people who voted would rather have the Double Stuff.  Both are great bulls in their own right. I'd venture to guess Double Stuff has had an impact over a broader range of the industry than Emblazon.

I think the only part of the beef industry that Double Stuff has impacted is with club calves.  Not only did he spread TH all over the shorthorn breed, but he just doesn't have the grow for alot of the commercial guys.  With that said when he busted onto the scene his calves were some of the coolest looking calves I had ever seen.  I think he has served his purpose in club calves I just don't think that he has the wide range that Emblazon has.
