Good looking calves.

We are still in spring in the southern hemisphere and are still waiting for our rain and you seem to be colder than our mid-winter!

Makes me more tolerant of our December/January heatwave.

Your calves have done well! Your Mist Return calf looks very similar to ours. They are born so easily and stay moderate framed, but they really gain thickness by 12 months of age. They make great bulls to use on heifers. My Mist Return daughters are also moderate framed and have excellent udders and lots of milk.

In regards to the weather, we also have had a much better fall than last year. This year my cows are all still on pasture and if the weather holds they can graze for at least another month. Last year this time I had already been feeding hay for over a month.
