Sad to say but so true around midwest and northern part of the country, "If it ain't Black, it ain't coming back". Seen alot of nice red, smoke and roan steers get beat because it's competition was black. So he might sell well is some parts of the country but not so well in other parts. prefer BLACK cattle over any other cattle .AS long as they can use that long black hair they are tough to beat, the Charolais influence definitely adds more muscle ...WITH THESE half blood females an bulls though you will see more black cattle with Charolais influence in them because a about half of them turn out black ...
