Went pasture shopping Friday in Southwest Wisconsin, befor new snowstorm hits. Seem some killer Heatwaves,Frictions,Hannibals[out of small angus cows]some really good monopoly's,and some outstanding calves[best all around] out of Tycoon. Have heard of this bull some, but had never seen any calves in person.Very impressive.I would think he should be on everyone's shortlist.

Supreme hefier at a show in Nebraska last week was a Tycoon. Another real good hefier at the show out of him. N-Charge is on my Short List also. Bred the same way.

NCharge & Tycoon are full sibs inblood. Out of full sib cows & Hannibal. Both are PHAC.,but on the right cows should work. Most PPL are more hopped up about N-Charge.

Seen Tycon in person before he sold in Denver this spring.  Three year old and is as sound as can be.  He throws a ton of hair and bone.  Four calves born with and average of 68 lbs.  N charge is a full brother, looks just as impressive as a calf, might be a tick more shorter sided and definitely has a ton of bone.   Bulls are not full sibs. They have different dams. Tycoon is out of the"Spice" cow and N Charge is out of the 8125 cow I think, but for sure are not full sibs. Hannibal's can come in all sizes. Use on cows that just in case, you know that she can handle a larger calf. We had one last year weigh in @ 124lbs. She was 7 days overdue though out of a SH x SM 2nd calver. Born unassisted, but big.

After searching some of the sites in Ohio for the upcoming pasture Sale, I spotted these Tycoon X PB Char calves!

Looks like he might be a descent option for Smoke Calves!

For those of you that have used Tycoon, were they out of a variety of cow types? What worked best?

I had two bull calves out of Tycoon last spring. Both out of small framed soggy extremely sound 3/4 blood maine chill factor daughters. Nether of the calves have any rib or body and we had to put one down because he was to straight on his back legs. The cow has had better HWs, Full Flushes and Harbeger Texas Holdem calves. Just a little bad to go with all the good.

FYI, just as with most of the clubbie xbred bulls Tycoon can throw a big one periodically. I heard of one c-section.
