Chap - do you have any idea how many calves Afterhours has on the ground?  I have been intrigued, but have not seen any calves for sale sired by him, so have not bit.  His photo looks strikingly similar to the Angus bull Bush Unbelievable 423 - maybe it is just the pose.

interestingly i have used Unbelievable as well and would say their general build is very similar with Afterhours calves having more power.  Afterhours has been used fairly heavily in my local area but has been pretty limited on a national basis.  Brandon Bird had his first set in TX last fall and used him pretty heavily again.  The majority of his calves have been marketed through our online sales.  Dunkau and Pryor have both sold a couple of breds in the $10k range.  I have sold 5 open heifers and retained every other daughter.  I think we have about 30 daughters in the herd now with the oldest nursing their 2nd calves.  Udder quality is beyond impressive.  here are some pics of a few heifers we sold.

I ended up with 2 No Worries calves out of my Shorthorn cross cows this spring. I am very pleased with the heifer pictured below.
She is a March calf pic is from May.

I also got this March bull calf, pic is from last week. I cant decide if i like him or not? Will he grow into his legs? This is from the cow that throws huge calves. He was at least 100lbs. She laid down and delivered him unassisted on a cold nasty morning in March. He is a nice calf but maybe to tall to be competitive? What do you think?
Knowing what she does with calving ease bulls do i dare ever put a clubby bull on her? i would like to try MAB.

She may be the perfect candidate for these clubby bulls since she can throw 100+lb calves unassisted. That's just my opinion though
