We bred 30 Angus heifers to I67, Jesse James and Frisky Whiskey last year. Very happy with the BW's and results. Also have a Comfort Zone calf I really like.

For Simangus I would look at the Genex bull SDS Graduate for a purebred OLF Odin U5. Both bulls are available ar reasonable prices.  Graduate is on special at $ 15.00 and Odin is around $ 30 and volume deals are available.

clubby we love Mercedes Benz and simmi we use Westfall Voyager.
Voyager is older but very tested and Mercedes is not as old but tested....

one thing you don't do is use a new "calving" ease sire; too many times they don't hold out
to their calving ease and you end up with a mess

OLd and expensive Dream On. Love the vigor we had from his calves. Came small and grew well.
Using a BPF Boomer son that is doing tremendous job. Boomer being Sooner's full brother.
Macho did alright on second calvers and made beautiful replacements.
Our old stand by for shorthorns is - Gizmo. Love the rib shape and the way they come. Great temperments.

Would like to try
Grizzly simmi- have seen awesome results from that bull

CNS Pays to Dream
Trendsetter- Do not know what happen. Do not hear much about his offspring. Liked his promotional pictures did alot of winning as a bull.

Simmi folks will probably laugh at my choices.

I have been using Mercedes Benz on my simmy and sim cross cows, and I love the females I get from this mating.  The steers can be hit and miss.
