Took a few cell phone pictures doing chores today. First is a Cool Customer steer out of an simmi/angus cow.  Second is a Jesse James heifer, dam is Risky Business angus cow.  Third is a Bodacious on a WMW simmi cow. Fourth is his face he wouldn't leave me alone. Hope you enjoy them as much as I do.  Happy calving!

IVE been wanting to see a Cool  Customer-looks like it came easily-gotta love a cute friendly calf like that. I had one calf,a bull (UB Mad Max back in the giant days)that bonded with me from day one-and was the cutest most playfull dude;allways at the fence when I pulled in looking for attention-but then he got big,REAL BIG. We have had great luck with Cool Customer below is a full sibling to the steer.  We sold her to the first person to stop by and see her last fall. Also have a steer we are feeding for the county fair that is coming along great.  Thanks for the comments.

Took a couple more pictures of the Bodacious steer.  He is different than anything I have ever raised. Not sure what he will turn into but he is already a pet. He is the first one to come up to you and loves being combed on!!

He looks really good! Our bodacious calves have had very good dispositions too, even when their mothers don't. Congrats on him and keep us updated!

Thanks very much for the great comments.  That is the only Jesse James we have had. Bred one other but she passed over.  This heifer is out of a small cow and the calf is starting to show signs of being small framed.  I still really like her but Jesse will not them bigger.  One thing I liked was she has been stout from day one and we will be using him more this spring.  As for the steer he will be back on here this fall if he keeps going!!! Thanks again!
